As I have already stated our family took up the whole chapel for the funeral. So when we had the luncheon in the cultural hall we took up the whole cultural hall to eat. We have some amazing people in our ward, they feed the 5000 and I am sure at times they felt as though it was the 5000, and there would not be enough food. But a miracle happened and we all went away having eaten well. The long tables were put in long lines. The rows seemed to go forever. We filled every chair. The family had the privilege of standing on the stage and singing "Go Ye Now In Peace." Such a beautiful song I am sure as we sang in the chapel, and as we sang on the stage there were angels with us. We have some very talented people on the other side and now very talented Dad is there as well. I didn't get to talk to everyone that I wanted too. I felt bad that some of my cousins came and went. Such an incredible day for such a beautiful funeral, but such a sad day as well. I can't believe my father is gone. I loved him so much. I am so grateful that I've had the opportunity to be in Mom and Dads ward. Because I've had experiences with them that no one else has. The many times I have heard their amazing testimonies. I got to see my father play the organ and my mother be the chorister. I got to hear them comment in Sunday School Classes. I got to hear about amazing things that my father commented on in priesthood meeting. I am certainly blessed to be Mom and Dads neighbor. A blessing that I will never forget!
I had the opportunity to go to Kamas to the grave sight and hear David dedicate the grave. It was beautiful in Kamas, the graveyard was unbelievable well kept.I am sure Dad was happy with the whole day. He left this world way to soon, but like I said he was. probably as shocked as we were. I know my mother will miss him so much. It will be hard on her, not to have him around. I hope we as a family can give her the support she needs.
It was fun to go to the grave and to see all my ancestors who have gone from this world. I am sure there was a wonderful reunion on the other side.
